Meet Noah
Noah D. Perlman, ND, DC, CFMP, FBCA, is the founder of Gene Informed Wellness. Since 2015, he has maintained a busy private practice and, in recent years, expanded into online consulting.
With a background in naturopathic and chiropractic medicine, and training in functional medicine, functional blood chemistry analysis, and Applied Functional Genomics, he helps health-conscious adults make sense of unresolved symptoms through a clinician-led, data-driven approach.
This work is delivered through GIW’s signature program, Genomics Clarity — a structured process designed to connect the dots between health history, genetic tendencies, and deeper functional patterns that may be getting missed.
When appropriate, that process may also include metabolomics and microbiome analysis to bring more context to complex health concerns.
If health has felt confusing, discouraging, or exhausting, this work was built for that exact problem.
My Approach
I help people move out of the symptom-confusion cycle and into a clearer, more useful understanding of what may actually be driving their health patterns.
Not with more random supplements.
Not with more restriction.
Not with the latest health trend dressed up as personalization.
The goal is to understand how the body is functioning, where stress may be showing up, and why certain patterns keep repeating.
Using an Applied Functional Genomics framework — anchored in a comprehensive health history and clinical context — I look for the deeper patterns that may help explain why progress has stalled.
This work is built for real lives, real stress, and real limitations. It is not designed for perfect routines or fantasy-level compliance. It is designed to help people make smarter decisions with better information.
Why This Approach Works
Most people are not stuck because they are not trying.
They are stuck because the map is incomplete.
They have been given pieces of information, but not a clear interpretation of how those pieces fit together. One symptom. One lab. One suggestion at a time.
That usually creates more effort without more clarity.
GIW takes a different approach. The work is built around identifying broader patterns, upstream drivers, and the areas that deserve attention first so the next step actually makes sense.
When Answers Still Don’t Add Up
Many people arrive here after doing what they were told to do and still feeling like something is off.
They have tried to eat better. Sleep better. Supplement better. Push harder. Stress less. Do everything right.
And yet the fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, hormone-related patterns, sleep disruption, chronic stress patterns, or inflammation never seem fully explained.
That gap matters.
This work is about replacing confusion with context and helping people move forward with a clearer understanding of what may be happening beneath the surface.
The GIW Clarity Method
-
For people who are:
tired of surface-level answers
tired of generic recommendations
tired of health concerns that still do not make sense
Gene Informed Wellness was built to help health-conscious adults make sense of unresolved symptoms through clinician-led Applied Functional Genomics, clinical context, and systems-based thinking.
-
GIW focuses on clarity.
Not more noise. Not more random recommendations. Not more symptom chasing disguised as personalization.
The work is built around a simple idea: when the map is incomplete, progress stalls. People are often left managing one symptom at a time while the broader pattern remains overlooked.
GIW takes a different approach. Health history, genetic tendencies, and when appropriate deeper testing such as microbiome analysis and metabolomics are used to help identify what may actually be driving the pattern.
-
Symptoms matter, but they do not always explain themselves.
A person can be told everything looks normal and still know something is off. That gap matters.
GIW uses a clinician-led, data-driven process to look at health through a wider lens.
The goal is to identify:
patterns
upstream drivers
priorities that deserve attention first
This is not about overwhelming people with data. It is about making the data meaningful.
-
Most people are given fragmented answers — one lab, one symptom, one suggestion at a time.
GIW is designed to look at the bigger picture.
Applied Functional Genomics helps reveal how the body may be wired to handle:
inflammation
detoxification
oxidative stress
methylation
nutrient demand
stress adaptation
A comprehensive health history adds clinical context. When appropriate, microbiome analysis and metabolomics can deepen the picture further.
The goal is not more data for the sake of data.
The goal is better interpretation, better clarity, and a better next step.
-
GIW works with health-conscious adults who:
are tired of vague answers and incomplete explanations
feel like something is off despite being told labs are normal
want a more thoughtful, systems-based interpretation
value clinician-led guidance grounded in data and context
This is not generic wellness coaching. It is a structured process built to create clarity and direction.
